The Interactive Dynamics of Episodic Memory Lab

Angela is currently an undergraduate psychology student pursuing the cognitive neuroscience track. Before joining the lab, she immersed herself in comparative cognition research, investigating working memory and visual processing in pigeons. Her NSF-REU project aimed to enhance working memory in an aged pigeon cohort using GENUS, a gamma-entrainment treatment. Angela is interested in episodic memory and the mechanisms underlying retrieval, and hopes to broaden her perspective on experimental design and behavioral data analysis while deepening her knowledge of neuroanatomy. In the future, she aspires to study how neurodegenerative diseases affect memory processes, and how imaging can be used to measure these effects.
