The Interactive Dynamics of Episodic Memory Lab

Mackenzie is a first-year graduate student in NYU’s Master’s Program in Psychology with a concentration in Clinical Neuroscience. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Culture and Politics from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and minored in Psychology. Her research focuses on the underlying mechanisms of human memory, particularly how general knowledge and episodic memory interact, as reflected in EEG activity during memory encoding and retrieval. Outside of academics, she enjoys spending time outdoors, visiting art museums, and traveling.
